I would just like to know how everyone is handling the requirement to list whether the transaction is Residential or Commercial.

I'm just starting to modify title reports and I was going to use the field PROPUSE which is not in the database. So I was going to add this field in the Data Collector.

What is everyone else doing? Any better ideas?

Trying to set up ProTrust 12.0 in a networked environment with the ptwin.mdb being on a central server, accessed on clients via mapped drives.

The clients can open and view the database just fine, but if they change or import and try to save a ledger they get

"ProTrust for Windows (PTWIN - 018a)
Invalid Attribute/option identifier
your changes were not saved."

Is there some simple or quick fix to this, obvious to those in the know? I'm not a database or network expert by any means, so it could be something easy, I hope.

Here's how I fixed WinWord.exe process problem and added softpro's word Macro. It should take care of the PFWIN-185 and PFWIN-143 error for you.

1. Rename the Normal.dot file to Normal_old.dot it can be found in
C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates

2. Then in the same folder copy and paste the SPWINMRG.dot from the softpro folder in program files and rename it to Normal.dot

After I did this WinWord.exe was no longer running in the processes list in the Task Manager after i closed Word.

Take a look on the install CD, in the \Tools\Screenshots folder. open hudclosingtab.pdf flip to page 32. DLEN, DMTB, DSVR are the first few, DAGT, DUND, DESC, DGOV are the last few.

I cannot find where the Field name would be listed for the "Grouped Disbursements" amount fields. In creating letters to send out checks, I need to be able to pull the amount of the checks being sent out but because the fields are grayed out, I cannot click on them to see what the field name is. Do you have a list of those field names?

Hi, I need the help.

I've been using Protrust & softpro for many years. Now I opens up the new business entity and ordered new checks.

I started the chekc number from 1000 and "protrust" does not allow the print this New company check due to duplicated number.

Instead of ordering the new checks, I think there is a way to separate old data -old business records, and the new business check & record. Need the help, please

I recently had to replace my hard drive and I went to re-install softpro and it won't launch the application because it says my server and client versions are not in sync and I need to update my client version.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there a way to merge a certain signature block depending on the user logged into Softpro?

i.e. on our letters that go out, we currently have a prompt that asks for our name and title. We have to type that in for every letter we send out during the closing process.

I'm hoping there is a way for Proform to tell word who is logged in and for it to automatically put a specific signature.
