The SPUser group's principal purpose is to help its members learn about and operate the Softpro for Windows Application Suite and offer support to one another concerning industry related topics as they pertain to the software. The group does not have as a principal purpose any commercial purpose such as the earning of profit for its members or others. SPUsers encourage new member participation.

The SPUsers group was founded at a Softpro Users Conference in 2001 by Stephanie Lind. By the end of the first year, the SPUsers group had grown to more than 100 members. The Softpro User Group Forums web space has been donated by U S Title Agency of Cleveland and created by Dan Chapin from U S Title Agency, Inc. of Cleveland. The user group continues to grow and is administrated by Dan Chapin, Dan Van Fleet & Stephanie Lind.
